CAN I HELP?
WRITE
to your Member of Parliament, protesting about this injustice.
Make reference to your own situation and ask the MP to reassure you that
he has the interests of ALL
pensioners at heart, not just "State Pensioners" If you
get a reply incorporating the "excuses" as on our Excuses page,
write again and say that you do not accept their excuses, point out that
FOUR responsible working groups have recommended the abolition of compulsory
annuity purchase in its present form. Ask for action in rectifying the
whole issue. The more people who express their dissatisfaction, the better.
THIS

They are always after news to do with matters of general, as well as
local concern. Ask them to mention CAPPA's

address and also CAPPA's
membership secretary's address, as above. That way, we have contact with
everybody who would like to help us.
COLLECT
ANY PRESS CLIPPINGS
about anything you read which may help everyone's understanding of what
is going on. Put in the name and date of the publication and please post
them to Tony Davies' address above. These press clippings are the best
way CAPPA
can
discover the effectiveness of its publicity campaign.
TELL
your friends, family and associates about CAPPA
and get them to join. If you would like some CAPPA
information leaflets put your needs on the

can mail out information to them direct.
